Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are imaginative and eager children. They come from low-income households and have not had much experience with the world outside their community.
My students and I have started the distance learning journey.
Many of my students don't have the resources they need to continue learning at home.
My students would benefit from a variety of classroom resources to help increase their success in our newly established distance learning platform.
My Project
My students have been working hard on the packets I have sent home to them. They would benefit more if I could virtually show/teach them concepts like numbers and letter recognition. We were working on these concepts before we were asked to teach from home.
I would really appreciate it if you could help give my students materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
I would be able to teach them these concepts in a fun interactive way. They would love to see some science experiments that they could possibly duplicate at home.
