My students are smart, curious, creative, funny, hardworking, and friendly towards one another. My personal class consists of 20 students that represent families all over the world, as well as a variety of learning levels. My school has seventeen first grade classrooms and my K-2 school consists of over 1,000 students of diverse backgrounds. This can make teaching challenging because of the diverse learning abilities, but my students are always eager to learn. My students continually face obstacles head-on and continually strive to do better. Their drive and passion for learning are amazing!
My Project
Teaching virtually this year has taught me that things will always work out, even when you don't expect them to. My students are resilient and I love their zeal for learning! Trying to create digital resources has proven to be time consuming, but the excitement it creates in my students to learn new things is well worth it. Teachers Pay Teachers is a website with resources created by educators that can be shared with other educators. I hope to use this resource so I can manage my time to help students in other ways.

Working together with other educators will help me do just that. Often times I spend countless hours creating materials for my students to do at home. A Teachers Pay Teachers account will help me use my time to help students in other ways. It will also give me a vast array of resources to help students in all subject areas. I use this resource now, but I am limited as to what I can use. My hope is to be able to choose any resource that will help my students be successful!
