My Students

I teach two different types of students. I teach some 8th grade students who generally struggle with math. They are hard workers but the math concepts just do not come easy to them.

Most of them have little or no help at home.

Their parents are either too busy to help or do not understand math well enough to help them. The second group of students I work with are 7th grade honors students. Most of these students do well in school and particularly in math. Most of them are in need of some kind of a challenge.

My Project

I present my lesson everyday on Zoom for students who are unable to be in class. I also record my lessons each day so that students can go back and review it at home if they need extra help. I use a program called Doceri which allows me to use an I pad to write on instead of the board so that it can be shared on my Zoom meeting. I need an iPad Pro because it has a large screen which allows me to write bigger when I solve math problems.
