Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am working to establish an instrumental music program that will give students the chance to explore music, develop new skills, and build confidence through creative expression. I teach at a school where many students have limited access to arts education and extracurricular opportunities. For many of these students, this program would provide their first opportunity to learn an instrument and participate in an ensemble.

My goal is to create an inclusive, supportive environment where every student has access to the educational and personal benefits that music offers, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Help me give my students the start to a wonderful foundation in music by helping to provide them violins for a brand-new instrumental music program at their school.
