Violins for HES Stars

My Project

This year we have 103 students participating in our string orchestra at HES! It is a Title I school in Glen Burnie and most students need to borrow an instrument from school. I was unable to provide an instrument to 30 musicians that wanted to play. While I was able to borrow some instruments from colleagues at other schools, our HES Stars need their own violins as our program continues to grow!

Students participating in the school strings program learn discipline, perseverance, teamwork, dependability, and courage.

These skills are vital for success not just in music, but in life. Help us get more kids learning instruments at HES!
