My Project

I am seeking support to help sustain and grow our student center, a space dedicated to building connection, engagement, and a sense of belonging for all students. My experience working with students and leading programs that promote school culture has shown me how powerful it is when students have a place where they feel seen, supported, and valued.

At DMS, I have had the opportunity to help create and expand programs that center on student engagement, teamwork, and community building.

One of the many impactful initiatives has been the development of our student center, an inclusive space where students can spend their lunch time in a positive environment. Here, students can connect with peers, work on assignments, complete assessments, or simply take a break in a supportive setting.

The student center has quickly become a meaningful part of our school culture. We host incentive and recognition events, collaborate with student council and leadership groups, and provide opportunities for students to celebrate their growth and achievements. It serves as a safe and welcoming environment for students who may not always feel connected in other spaces.

With your support, we can continue to provide snacks, games, and essential supplies that make this space inviting and functional. These resources are more than just items, they help create moments of joy, encouragement, and connection that students carry with them throughout their school day.

I am deeply committed to ensuring that every student has access to a space where they feel a sense of belonging and pride in their school community.
