Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from the lower socio-economic group that does not always have the advantages that others do. But when given the opportunity they can succeed at high levels and surprise even themselves. My students don't have what others do and this will help.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to create, edit, and publish videos showing what they know. This will give students a way to learn new skills that will apply to their future. Also, they will be writing scripts to hone their storytelling skills as they show their learning. This will also give them an opportunity to work together and then share their work with a larger audience. Lower economic students do not always have opportunities like this and having such a project will allow them to be on a more level playing field.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
