My Project

My project aims to enhance creativity and self-expression among students through various art mediums. By providing markers, oil pastels, watercolors, and colored pencils, we're giving students the tools to explore their creativity and showcase their individuality.

With a variety of art supplies at their disposal, my students will have the opportunity to experiment with different techniques and styles.

From bold marker strokes to delicate watercolor washes, each medium offers a unique way for students to express themselves. These materials will be used with our Deep Space Sparkle lessons to create beautiful work where students will learn about and be inspired by amazing artists.

Through hands-on exploration, my students will not only create their own masterpieces but also learn about different types of art and artists' styles. By studying various artworks, students will gain insight into the artistic process and develop a deeper appreciation for art history and diversity. These materials can be used in class to create gallery walk posters for math, new story book covers in reading, maps in social studies and diagrams in science. These colorful tools will bring a new excitement to group work and projects.

In my classroom, I encourage students to think outside the box and embrace both their mistakes and their masterpieces. By fostering a supportive environment where creativity is celebrated, students will gain confidence in their artistic abilities and learn to express themselves authentically. I want to give them the tools they need and not be limited by the 10 colors in a marker box or the last of the watercolor in the dish.

I hope these wonderful supplies will assist my students in learning more about math, science, reading, writing, and social studies as I will be able to incorporate more art into our lessons.
