This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Both Uzzle and Picasso Tiles require strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Uzzle challenges players to arrange pieces in specific patterns, exercising logic and spatial reasoning. Picasso Tiles, with their geometric shapes, encourage creativity and spatial awareness.

Collaboration and Communication: Playing these games often involves teamwork and communication among students.

They learn to share ideas, negotiate, and work together towards a common goal, fostering collaboration skills crucial for success in various aspects of life.

Creativity and Imagination: Picasso Tiles especially stimulate creativity and imagination. Students can explore different ways to arrange the tiles, creating unique structures and patterns. This fosters creative thinking and encourages them to think outside the box.

Hands-On Learning: Both Uzzle and Picasso Tiles offer hands-on learning experiences, which can be especially beneficial for kinesthetic learners. Manipulating the puzzle pieces and tiles engages multiple senses, aiding in better retention of concepts.

Engagement: I aim to engage students actively in their learning process. By incorporating interactive and enjoyable activities like Uzzle and Picasso Tiles, I hope to spark their interest and enthusiasm for learning.

Skill Development: I want to facilitate the development of essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity. These skills are not only important academically but also in preparing students for future success in their personal and professional lives.

Inclusivity: I strive to create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. Games like Uzzle and Picasso Tiles offer opportunities for all students to participate and contribute regardless of their academic abilities or background.

Joy of Learning: Ultimately, I hope to instill a love for learning in my students. By making learning fun and engaging through innovative activities, I want them to experience the joy of discovery and exploration.
