We are beginning the new school year with six students.

The students typically have moderate to severe autism. Our classroom is designed using evidence-based strategies for children with autism. For example, we implement behavior plans using Applied Behavior Analysis. The students are learning social skills, verbal skills, and other important functional skills.

My Project

I am hoping to get ten VB-MAPP protocols for the new school year. These protocols are used to complete and assessment then an individualized program for each student. VB stands for verbal behavior which is an important part of our curriculum. Students learns to request their wants and/or needs and eventually learn to answer questions!

Having the protocols would allow my staff and I to begin the year organized and prepared.

The program is wonderful for students with autism! We just need the protocols to keep it going.
