This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Access to books that students can understand in a lower level Spanish class is of paramount importance for several reasons. Firstly, it provides students with the opportunity to engage with the language in a meaningful and accessible way. When students can comprehend the content they are reading, they feel more comfortable and confident in their language abilities. This comfort level is crucial for language acquisition as it fosters a positive learning environment where students are more likely to take risks and actively participate in class activities.Moreover, reading materials tailored to their proficiency level allow students to experience a sense of accomplishment.
