This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dual immersion programs are designed to help children become bilingual and bi-literate in both English and Spanish, and play is an essential part of this process.

Research has shown that play is a powerful tool for language acquisition, as it allows children to practice using language in a low-stakes, enjoyable environment.

Children having fun are more likely to take risks and experiment with new words and phrases, which helps build their confidence and fluency.

By supporting the provision of fun and educational games in Spanish for first graders in dual immersion programs, you are helping to create a more vibrant and inclusive learning environment for these young learners. Thank you for your generosity and support.
