Valentines Sip and Paint Andy Warhol Style!

My Project

We are getting ready to study an artist Andy Warhol and I would like to have a culminating Valentines Sip and Paint for my students. My students are going to research Andy Warhol and his style of art. The sip and paint will close our unit out.

The Students will use the canvas to create their own art work Andy Warhol style of course.

They will have to also follow a recipe to create a drink that will go inside of their cups. My older students have started a print shop, so they will also have to measure and cut out everyone names to put on their cups. The straws will be the final touch, but before the students can have one they will have to measure with a ruler and tell me the length in inches and in centimeters. WE also discuss standard and non standard measurement. They will have to tell me what non standard items could they use to measure the straws.
