Valentine's Day Snacks and Gifts!

Help me give my students Valentine's Day snacks and Amazon gift card to celebrate an improvement in attendance!

My Project

My students come from a Title I school in Harlem, NY. They receive 100% free breakfast and lunch each day. Many come from high-poverty homes where resources are limited. Meeting their educational, physical, social, and emotional needs is crucial this school year!

Students are working hard and doing their best, but still face many challenges.

We want to make sure their needs are being met in every way!

One way to help them feel important and included is by celebrating them with treats for Valentine's Day! I want to provide them with stickers and treats as we celebrate Valentine's Day. These snacks will help keep them from being hungry and also celebrate the Valentine's Day holiday!!

The Amazon gift cards will be used as raffle prizes to celebrate the K-5 students, who have made the most improvement in their attendance. These students will attend a Valentine's Day Attendance dance that will take place in February 2023. These gift cards will be given to students who have made the most improvement in attendance and punctuality from January to February 2023, as an encouragement to continue coming to school.
