Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in this project will go towards decorating our school's gym for a valentine’s day dance. The items in this project that will be used to decorate the gym include: pink and red bulletin board paper, fairy lights and batteries, a fringe backdrop, and a tablecloth. This dance will not only serve as an incentive to reward students for their hard work, but it will also double as a financial literacy project. Student council members will practice their financial literacy skills as they sell snacks and collect and house funds in the cashbox included in this project.

Students are very excited to interact with their peers and groove to the beat of the music.

Dancing has the power to improve an individuals mood and ease any stress that they may feel. Our students have been working around the clock and they deserve a dance to help them decompress and relax. We hope you can help bring our decor to life. We greatly appreciate your support.
