Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The items will be used during our outdoor learning time. The students love to learn and play outside. Playing outdoors allows children to develop self-confidence, independence and self-esteem with outdoor learning. They also become aware of limits, boundaries and challenge in their play. When children are used to playing outdoors, they are more likely to try new activities.
The equipment will be used to add to our existing learning areas and replace some of our old materials.
This will help us maintain our outdoor learning time and make sure it is fun and engaging for our students.
