This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at one of the public schools that belong to the Franklin-McKinley School District, in San Jose, Ca. Our school is located in one of the poorest areas in the Silicon Valley. We are a Title 1 school with a majority of English Learner students. My current assignment is teaching Kindergarten!

I am amazed at how much progress my students have made.

Parents and teacher are teaming up as never seen before. This pandemic have made all of us to look into each other and forced us to find our best on all of us. We all have a common goal. We want to help these children pass the difficulties of the distance leaning.

I hope that all my students will have a year full of leaning and exploration!

My Project

Thank you for supporting my students' learning needs. These writing materials (white boards and dry-erase markers) will be used by my students to follow my lessons from home.

I will make a huge difference in their learning if they had a white board to copy/follow my lesson.

I will use these white boards to ask them to show me if they can follow and demonstrate math lessons (number representation, numbers bonds, ext) and also for Language Arts lessons (practicing their penmanship, name writing, color words, writing simple sentences, copying sight words, etc.)
