Using Tiles To Self Check Your Work For Math Activities
Help me give my students along with other special education students in grades 1-5 the chance to use hands on activities that The VersaTiles Math Differentiation Kit provides. These students learn by repeated practice and hands on activities.
My students come from poverty and are from low-income families. The majority of students qualify for free breakfast and free lunch. This doesn’t hold them down when it comes to school. The students I work with are in school almost every day. They are highly inquisitive special education students of varying ages and abilities! The more opportunities they have to practice math, the better prepared they will be for the real world.
They love to learn by actively engaging in a variety of hands on activities so they can discover the best way they learn and this is a way they can work individually or with a partner.
They look forward to using hands on learning tools to help them strive to be their best. They are like sponges just waiting to soak in more knowledge. My students want to learn so they can better their lives and pursue their dreams!
My Project
The VersaTiles Math Kit is a fun way to reinforce math skills for students in grades 1-5. Students can work individually or with a partner. They won’t even realize they are learning math, they’ll just think they are trying to solve a puzzle.
Using tiles in a cryptic way to practice a variety of math skills is a cool way to have fun while learning.
This kit can be used for remedial students and advanced students, as you can choose the activities for individual students. It is a great way to individualize the math math curriculum. This is an awesome asset to have!
