I had a sixth grade student who had been on my radar for truancy for several years. She did not make it on the list because she missed a day the first week of school. She was very upset, so I sat down with her and explained how the perfect attendance works and what each student must do to be on the list. This student has only missed half of one day in the past six weeks! I was so impressed that I called her to my office to congratulate her and ask her what made the difference. She said she wants to be on the list to receive a treat every week! This is just one of many examples of how perfect attendance treats make a difference.\r\n\r\nEven though it seems like a small thing to receive a treat, it means so much to many students. Your generous donations make it possible to have weekly treats.....and, not just any treats. I am able to get things like chips, candy bars, fruit snacks and other treats the students really want.
