My Students

How can students be encouraged to come to tutoring or be highly engaged during centers? ACCESS TO T-E-C-H-N-O-L-O-G-Y!!!

My students are 6th grade students in the state of California.

They attend a school that is in a high poverty neighborhood. My students don't have access to technology and we live in a world that is constantly being shaped by the latest technological breakthroughs.

My Project

My class needs 1 Motorola Xoom Tablet to use in class during tutoring and/or centers. My students are highly motivated and interested in technology such as xbox 360, ps3, and video games. As a teacher, I can appeal to their high interest in technology to have them come to tutoring and utilize a cool technological gadget and have them engage in educational programs that can be accessed by the Motorola Xoom Tablet.

I believe that all students from all socioeconomic levels must have access to technology in this world which is shaped by technological advances.

Through your generous donation you can help my students who are from a high poverty neighborhood have access to technology to motivate them to come to tutoring and become highly engaged during math. My students will be more motivated to work during math class by using the 1 Motorola Xoom Tablet which I am asking for.
