Help me give my students graduated beakers, a variety of scales and models to explore, ask questions and make discoveries about the brain, the properties of liquids and the weight of things in everyday life.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
By putting scientific tools in the hands of my students such as anatomical models, microscopes, graduated beakers, safety equipment, a variety of scales to explore, you are ensuring that I can present children the opportunity to ask questions and make discoveries about how the world works. They are free to look into the brain, the properties of liquids and the weight of things in everyday life.
The children in the classroom relish having access to scientific tools.
They are interested in learning how to use them, are intrinsically motivated to ask questions, and are able to help themselves to work modes that lead to discoveries.
