My Project

These books will help support the continued learning for Library Media Specialists to effectively use Graphic Novels in our libraries and classrooms with students. Graphic Novels are exploding in popularity among students in all reading levels. As library media specialists, it is important that we learn more about using these "comic books" do bring more for our readers. These two professional development books will help guide our school library media specialists to read these books deeper with our students and allow them to be used to grow our students as reader. We will be using these books as a book study for 15 library media specialists at a time. Hopefully we will be able to hold multiple sessions using these books to help as many as our library media specialists to grow!
