We are a school in a small community. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains. I am a second-year teacher, the first year in fifth grade, trying to provide as much as I can for my students to help them love school and love to learn.
Critical thinking, problem-solving and 21st-century skills are important for my students to learn, I really want to challenge my students.
We love to use technology in the classroom as much as we can. I have a true passion to help students learn 21st-century skills to help them be successful in college and their careers.
This class is full of excited kids that really are special, and they deserve a classroom that makes them feel special. We are so excited to read new books. We are really making the most of what we have.
My Project
In 5th grade, we learn about U.S. History. We have been learning about what caused the Revolutionary War and my students requested more books on the topics. I would love to bring the love they have for U.S. History alive through reading.
They will dive into these books and continue to self discover and learn about history.
The future of the world is in my classroom right now, and I want to help them learn from the past to make the future brighter.
I love to see the desire these students have to learn! As a teacher, I need to have the resources available to them to learn as much as possible.
