My Project

My classroom is full of energetic students who love to learn. Technology is used daily within the classroom and over time things start to break down. We are at that point this school year. The document camera freezes, the speakers crackle, and the DVD player is outdated. A new idea for our classroom is incorporating a karaoke machine! What an engaging time to practice fluency as a group. Students will be able to practice their decodable stories. This will be called, "Pass the Mic." Another place to use the karaoke machine is in writing when sharing stories.

It would be such a nice surprise to have some reliable and updated tools to use for instruction.

Second grade is such an influential time, so I want to make sure my instruction is exciting and keeps their interest.
