This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a lively, driven bunch! They come to school with strength and enthusiasm despite the many challenges they face outside our school gates. A majority of my students face the challenges of extreme poverty. Yet, my students arrive each day with smiles on their faces. They are the reason I am a teacher. Every child deserves a cheerleader, and I am their loudest voice.

My students are movers, shakers, and dream makers who celebrate what makes them unique!

Our class is 16 students strong. My students work hard to learn and grow as a team. Never tell us we can't do something!

My students face daily academic challenges head-on. I am so proud to be their teacher.

My Project

My students are movers and shakers! Sitting still is not how we work in our room.

Standard classroom chairs offer no reprieve for students with special needs.

This project will allow for two comfortable computer station chairs. Currently, my students sit on old squeaky plastic chairs. This project will also provide much-needed storage for computer equipment and files for student computer paperwork.

Our school is in a low-income area. All of my students are on free lunches. They deserve the opportunity to succeed. Our project will help students find a way to be comfortable while still focusing on their blending learning online work. Join with me to help my students succeed!
