My Project

I am requesting an updated laptop for my students' use. The laptop/Chromebook will be utilized for various science centers, small group work, research, and creative projects that focus on climate change and how to promote sustainability in our school and surrounding community. My students learn in a wonderful school, but the amount of technology is limited. Providing my students with this amazing technology piece during these uncertain times will allow them to access vital and current research they need to support STEM investigations in the classroom.

As sustainability coordinator at my school, I have a fabulous advisory group, "The Green Team" that currently consists of 30 students that are eager to make a difference in our school and surrounding community,having additional laptops for these wonderful students to use during our meeting time would be invaluable.

We live in a time where information is available with the touch of a button; these amazing students deserve the opportunity to explore and learn with technology so learning is equitable for all!
