Updated Mission Control to Support Learning Chemistry Remotely!

My Students

My students are talented and motivated artists who work hard to combine their love of the arts with their academic studies. We are an arts school in NYC where students from diverse backgrounds are united in their dedication to artistic and academic excellence. Approximately three fourths of my students are female.

Through hands-on exploration my artistic students will see the science that shapes the world around us.

Understanding the science of climate change, disease, and human health will empower my students to positively shape the world around them. Science, technology, and policy shape the future. Gaining scientific knowledge will give power to my students' voices as they make choices that will impact our futures.

This year all my students will be learning chemistry remotely. While in separate locations we will unite together to collaborate, inspire and grow together.

My Project

This year our class is ready for the challenge of learning chemistry remotely. It important that my students are safe and supported. With a second computer monitor to support our remote lessons we can make sure that students are engaged and collaborating as they learn.

A second computer monitor will make it so students can be supported in both their learning activity and their Zoom classroom.

These tools will help make our class interactive so that although we will be in separate locations we can come together as we inquire, explore and learn chemistry. A second monitor will allow use to engage in learning activities will connecting personally with one another.
