This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

High-frequency words are commonly occurring words that appear frequently in texts, making up a significant portion of everyday communication. These words can often be difficult for students to learn because they may not be “regular” or decodable spelling patterns and/or don’t carry much meaning or context on their own. (Words such as: the, and, are, as, of, etc.) However, these words are imperative for students to learn in order to be able to read even the most basic early texts.

Eyewords provides a multisensory - visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approach to teaching the high frequency words.

I am asking for your help to acquire this beneficial multi-sensory reading resource. These innovative cards are designed to engage multiple senses, making reading more accessible and enjoyable for students of all ages and abilities.
