This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 7 wonderful students in the Stars Program. They have come a long way since the beginning of the year transitioning from learning how to read cvc words, patterns, and adding and subtracting with pictures. My students are dependent highly on visuals to conduct their everyday routines. They learn best with visual and tactile experiences. I plan to use these materials primarily in whole-group and small-group lessons. My goal is to do my best to meet my students emotional, physical, and educational needs.
