Our dramatic play kitchen is the hub of our dramatic play center and will remain in the center for year-round engagement. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited to see a new kitchen set in our dramatic play center and immediately began opening and closing the doors, turning the handles, putting food on the stove, and filling the refrigerator. \r\n\r\nEven as our studies change throughout the school year, the kitchen set will always be a focal piece. We will use our kitchen set to learn how to prepare food for our baby dolls as pretend to be moms and dads. We will use it to learn how to bake, as we pretend to be bakers in a cookie shop. We will use it to learn how to wash dishes, as we pretend to run a restaurant.
