My Project

The phonics project aims to provide essential support to students by implementing the Foundations program, an explicit and systematic phonics approach. Through this initiative, students will develop foundational reading skills. The project will systematically introduce students to essential reading skills, ensuring they grasp each concept with confidence. By following a carefully developed scope and sequence, students will progressively build upon their reading abilities, leading to improved proficiency.

Through consistent practice and reinforcement, students will develop automaticity in applying phonics skills, enabling smoother and more fluent reading.

As students gain mastery over phonics principles, they will experience increased confidence in their reading abilities, fostering a positive attitude towards learning.

The program can serve as both core instruction for primary grades and intervention for struggling students in any grade, effectively addressing learning gaps and providing tailored support. By equipping students with strong foundational reading skills, the project sets the stage for lifelong literacy success, empowering them to navigate various texts and engage meaningfully with written content throughout their academic and personal lives.
