Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items in this project will benefit my classroom in practicing math skills to unlock their potential and achieve automaticity. This skill allows students to relay facts by memory rather than reviewing facts and equations.

Automaticity allows students to give an automatic response to a question or equation.

This enhances their learning by allowing the practice of repetition through games and interactive lessons.

Teaching special education students requires practice when reviewing skills and keeping instruction interactive as well as engaging. Materials such as dice, multiplication charts, and more will allow my students to achieve this automaticity and feel confident in their learning!
