My Students

My students are a very diverse group of kiddos! 90% of my students are minorities, many of whom are proud first generation Americans. They are curious and eager to explore the world around them. They just need the opportunity! 100% of my kids receive free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

The Covid-19 pandemic has robbed kids nationwide of so much. They have missed two years of classroom learning. They have missed two years of socialization. They have missed two years of emotional growth and connectedness to school and an in person learning environment that supports them. Help me continue to build a positive environment for my scholars.

Our school is truly a community.

Our kids live and play in the neighborhood. We do not have buses and most of our students walk to school. Just because our scholars live below the below the poverty line doesn't mean they don't deserve beauty in their surroundings. Painting these 'kindness rocks' to place in our school garden will further connect them to their school and environment.
