Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a Title I school, where many students and their families struggle to have a uniform for all days of the week. It is very often that students come to school without a uniform shirt or pants because their family can't provide one for every day or sometimes they haven't washed at home. The goal of this project is to provide our school's parent center items such as uniform collar shirts for the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. I also included black pants for both male and females. Winter is coming soon, which is why I also included gloves, sweaters, slippers and a variety of socks to give to families in higher need.

All of these items will be a huge blessing for our students and will allow them to wear a clean uniform everyday.
