Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The students at my school are required to wear school uniforms every day. The kids start the school year with fresh, new, clean uniforms but by the Spring many of the uniforms are pretty run down and the kids end up wearing anything but the uniform. Some of our families are unable to provide replacements and need help with keeping their kids uniform compliant.

All students should have access to clean, new school uniforms.

The uniforms help the kids feel like they are part of the school community

We also have kids that sometimes have potty accidents and need changing. Additional uniform pieces are not always available and we have to scramble to find replacements. Having clean, new uniform pieces available for the kids will help us to keep the kids clean, comfortable and feeling good!
