My students are eager little beavers! Always have something new to talk about and are always already for new learning! My class is a Special Day Class with 10 students each with their individual needs. I have students with Autism, Intellectual Disability, Other Health Impairments, Specific Learning Disability, and Visual Impairment. These students live in high poverty areas. Most of my students are bused in and all qualified for the free lunch program. But they are full of life and look forward to coming to school everyday!
For the last 5 years, I have been working with an "old school" projector that is broken in three pieces and is be held with lots of duck tape. This is what the district gave me when I took over the class. The color is way off. We watch videos in yellow hues. There is no sound and the document reader attached have been broken off.
My students are amazing in that, they do not complain.
They enjoy what I can give them but I like to give these special little kiddos more. This projector and document reader will help me to project videos and/or documents to enhance my lessons plans.
