Help me give my students instruments for their new ukulele class! These ukuleles are for students in need of an instrument for our class; they cannot afford to purchase one.

My Students

I love my students! I teach a general music class to 100 wonderful students. These students are from various places in the world. We have students who are Native American, Polynesian, Latino, African American, and Caucasian.

These students vary in their musical interests.

We have students that love rap, country, classical, pop, and especially music from their own cultures. These students have a great desire to learn music from all over the world.

We have students who have sufficient funds for school fees, and others that have their fees waived because of their financial situation.

My Project

Most students that I teach want to learn the ukulele, but never have had an opportunity. The COVID-19 pandemic has been rough for all of us, but particularly students.

I have requested 8 ukuleles which will be used for our ukulele course, which will give my students something to focus on at school and at home instead of all of the pandemic's effects on their lives.

Fun inspiring music always helps uplift the soul. This will also help lots of students receive a quality music education. Most students can't afford to be in a music education program, but this is a great way to keep kids in music!
