Ukuleles are Fun for 'Uke' and Me!

Help me give my students ukuleles to play. These instruments are easily learned and will give my students success from the beginning. My students also need supplemental curricula for the music classroom.

My Students

Calling all music lovers! I teach kindergarten through fifth grade music to four hundred and fifty, incredible students. They are thoughtful, kind, fair, responsible, and giving to one another. My students exhibit strong character and continue to build new skills everyday.

My students are playful, creative, young musicians.

They love developing new skills through singing, dancing, and playing. I am constantly amazed at the level of creativity my students present. They are Rockstars!

My Project

Ukuleles will bring joy to my students. These stringed instruments are easier to play than guitars and they are cheaper to purchase for the music classroom. The supplemental curricula will allow me more resources to successfully teach my students in a variety of ways.

Variety is the spice of life!

The more activities I can bring my students, the more engaged they will be in the classroom. Variety also allows me to differentiate for the individual needs of my students. I want every student that walks through my door to have a love or appreciation for music.
