Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These ukuleles will give my students an opportunity to not only have a ukulele to play individually in class time, but, also more students will be able to play during the concert. I currently only have 14 and I have 25 students in my class.

I am asking for 12 more ukuleles to make it so that everyone has one to play the whole time.

Currently, we are sharing and this makes for lots of interruptions as well as conflicts.

If we get a ukulele for everyone then we can play continuous without interruptions and spend more time in the class playing instead of switching between partners all of the time. The students would love this opportunity and would love to be able to spend more time in class learning so we can get improve our skills.
