Because of your kindness, our students now have engaging, hands-on materials that encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving during their recess time. The play-doh, bracelet-making station, and marble run have quickly become student favorites and have helped create a welcoming space where children can explore, create, and learn together.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their excitement was contagious! They immediately gathered around each station, eager to try everything. Some students spent time molding imaginative creations with the play-doh, while others proudly designed colorful bracelets to share with friends and family. The marble run sparked teamwork and critical thinking as students worked together to build tracks, test designs, and make improvements. Seeing their smiles and enthusiasm reminded us how meaningful these opportunities are for our students.\r\n\r\nAs we continue to grow our STEAM club, students will build on these experiences by exploring more design challenges, collaborative projects, and creative problem-solving activities. We hope to use the materials to encourage students to think like engineers, artists, and inventors while developing important social and communication skills. They were excited when they came in and could hardly wait once I told them they were on their way. Rhythm sticks are a piece of musical equipment that every student can use no matter their abilities, so having a full classroom set that is safe has been a game changer in my classes. They provide the ability to practice rhythms, steady beats, and various sound effects, as well as can be used for various games and dances. It is safe to say they have been well used since being received and will continue to be well used throughout the years. \r\n\r\nAs a music teacher, I have witnessed the decline of the arts in the school systems, and this makes the donation that much more important to me. You are supporting a small school and a small program, helping many children explore music and the arts in a time when both are being challenged but are so very important.
