I am teaching second grade. We are caring, kind, open-minded, and safe risk-takers. We get to know all the students in our classroom and respect each other by treating others as we want to be treated. We always strive to work together as much as possible.
My Project
We use Turtle Bucks to motivate us to do our best. Students can trade them in for things like stuffed balls (filled with beads and other squishies), tiny stuffed turtles, big stuffed turtles, sitting at the teacher's desk, or having a toy on your desk for the day. I pass out Turtle Bucks all day long to all kids who are doing a turtle-ific job. Students are always on the look out for Turtle Bucks.
Let's face it, kids need sturdy items.
I need to laminate my Turtle Bucks so they last and do not fall apart. With the laminator and pouches, I will be able to laminate hundreds of Turtle Bucks. With a class size of 24 and the goal to pass out 5-10 to each student every day, the math works out to about 240 bucks a day.
Students have bought into Turtle Bucks and they want more. I have the paper and the copier and the scissors and the mod-podge (don't ask). All that I am missing is the laminator and sheets.
I tried to keep the price down. I am hoping you can help us out to help us create lots and lots of Turtle Bucks. Thank you so much for thinking of us. Have a stellar and wonderful day.
