Turning Pages Into Adventures

Help me give my students new books! My fourth graders will read Wonder, Holes, and Frindle while participating in hands-on projects, STEM activities, and creative lessons that build reading skills, teamwork, empathy, and a love of learning.

My Project

My students mean so much to me, and I want my classroom to be a place where they feel excited to learn and connected to what we are reading. Many of my fourth graders understand stories best when they can experience them in different ways instead of only reading from a book. Through novels like Wonder, Holes, and Frindle, I want to help students grow as readers while also helping them learn about kindness, perseverance, and friendship.

These resources will give students opportunities to build, create, discuss, and connect with the stories we read together.

My goal is for students to enjoy coming to reading class and leave fourth grade with positive memories connected to books and learning.
