Turning Our Tech Talents into Tangible Creations

My students need replacement 3d printing filament, drawing tablets, and a 3d pen to turn their 3d models into tangible projects.

My Students

We are from a very small rural school in northern Michigan. Our graduating class is usually around 30 students.

Even though our school is small, we have big aspirations, and we are eager to exercise our creative minds.

Our small school is unique because we offer multiple technology-based classes in grades 7-12. We enjoy learning ways to incorporate technological tools, and we can assure you that a little equipment can go a very long way because of our small class sizes.

My Project

My students wish to learn more about 3d printing and are in need of additional resources to supplement the equipment we already have. We need 3d filament replacement spools to continue being able to print our 3d creations. Additionally, students would like to be able to freehand their ideas by using drawing tablets and a 3d pen to create physical representations of their drawings.

Students will be creating custom designed projects using 3d modeling software and print their ideas as tangible objects.

3d printing requires test prints, so these additional filament spools will allow students to learn from their mistakes and make corrections as needed.
