This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach students in an urban district who come each and everyday ready to learn. I tell my students every day that we are a family and this classroom is their second home. And that is why I always want to make sure that my classroom is a place where they feel safe, comfortable, and have fun!

My kindergarten students are smart, kind and, excited to learn!

My students get very excited when we come together to learn new topics; whether it is a new letter, a new word, or a new topic in math class. They are also fascinated with technology and get super excited when they can combine technology with what they are learning in the classroom.

My Project

My students have a rigorous schedule. Luckily, we have centers twice a day where they have the chance to unwind while still reviewing what they are learning that day. I try to ensure that each center activity engages all types of learners.

One of the most popular centers is the iPad center!

During iPad center the students are listening to stories, songs, directions, etc. Which can get a little loud and distracting. That is why these headphones are important to my students. It will help drown out the noise, turn up the volume as the see fit, and help each student stay on task. Please help my students to continue having fun and leaning during center time!
