The students utilize iPads every day in the classroom. We only have 5 iPads per classroom and they are 1st generation iPads. If the children were to have 1:1 iPads, we could maximize learning in the classroom during centers and with classwork. The rest of the school has 1:1 Chromebooks and the kindergarteners are the only grade level without 1:1 technology. iPads would give our students another way of enhancing their learning. We, as a kindergarten team, feel that they can really benefit from the use of iPads more frequently throughout the school day. Being in an urban setting, the funding isn't there for the students to get this kind of technology.
