Hi! I am a technology savvy 1st Grade Teacher who strives to prepare my students for the Digital 21st Century, but is lacking the tools necessary to do so.

My students LOVE to publish their writing and take ownership of their work! By podcasting, my students are able to build and showcase their language skills for a bigger audience... however, we are lacking the support and tools necessary to make this possible. We'd 'literally' like our voices to be heard!

We would love to have the convenience of an iPod and Tunetalk for easy recording in our own classroom. Students will be able to manipulate the iPod and speak easily into the Tunetalk for recording. Quieter students will be able to be heard with this high tech recording device. Creating podcasts and digital stories will further build my students' language skills, communication, and self confidence.

Your help will enable my students to create podcasts and digital stories that can be listened to and shared for years to come. My students will take pride in their work and be motivated to become better speakers and writers. This project supports the Universal Design for Learning, which is extremely important in today's society. ALL students are learning and are motivated to learn with the right tools and resources!
