My Students

My school is one that educates the young that come from a diverse community, low-income​ families, and families that have children with special needs. We are a school that not only supports the students but the families too. My Pre-K students come from a very diverse community. They are young, creative, and full of questions. They enjoy activities that are hands-on, get them moving, and engage them. They come into the classroom full of smiles and ready to share their experiences with the rest of the class.

My Project

This year our school picked out new curriculum studies for creative curriculum. We are going to be starting our tubes and tunnels study. The materials like sorting colors using tubes will be a great activity. The children will not only learn about the use of tubes but also color and number recognition and sorting. The magnetic tubes used for the building will help the children think about how they can put things together and build something.

These are little builders with great minds.
