My students are natural builders! We spend a lot of time building with blocks, legos, anything we can get our hands onto. We enjoy designing houses for our animals, and anything else you can imagine. Having a new center to build and design with will push us to be more creative because all these materials foster open-ended play. Students who are able to learn by doing not only have more self-confidence, but able increase their problem-solving skills! These design centers and materials will encourage very important work and help foster amazing social exchanges in the process. I can't wait to see what my little builders create!
