Help me give my students a chance to learn in an inviting classroom where they can learn in flexible seating areas and be incentivized to do their best with rewards.
I am very excited about teaching Read 180 next year. This is a reading program for students who are 2 levels or more below their grade level in reading. I want to make this classroom inviting and stimulating for my students. For this reason, I am trying to build a classroom for students that has flexible seating and rewards for students who reach their reading goals. The students I teach are from a high poverty area in an inner city school. These children will benefit from the one-to-one reading instruction and small-group setting. Being able to use flexible seating will be an advantage to these already reluctant readers because they will have a choice in where they sit and what seat they sit in. Please consider helping us!
