Since Time updates their news daily, students will be able to stay abreast of what is going on in our world. Likewise, students will be connected with relevant texts that help them make educated judgments after reading. If students have their own subscriptions, they can manipulate the text, take notes on the text, and have it in hand to reference as they are writing reports. Individual subscriptions afford each child the opportunity to share the text with their families, thus bringing knowledge to them concerning world matters. It's a win-win situation for my students to have access to Time Kids.
